For some reason, my domain, www.TanteHannaWrites.com, was separated from www.substack.com, which hosts my site. While my own domain name does not work at this time, you can now log in at tantehannawrites.substack.com.
I recently read that many hosting sites have deplatformed pro-Israeli blogs. I do not know whether hackers have caused the problems I am having. However, I doubt that I was deplatformed by substack.com because within a couple of hours of contacting them they fixed whatever was preventing anyone from logging on using the link above.
There will be no post this week, however, because of the immense number of hours I have spent trying to understand what the problem is and how to rectify it. I have not finished; my domain name by itself is still not working. I hope to publish next week, but unless I can fix this problem before Shabbat I will not be able to.
Are you a paid subscriber? One of the things I like about substack.com as host is that they have a “vacation” feature in their payment system. I will claim this week, and next if I am not publishing then either, as vacation. This will extend the paid subscriptions to compensate for the one or two weeks that I do not publish.
This situation has been completely out of my control, but I regret any inconvenience it has caused.
